“The times are changing and the energies are shifting. How things will manifest is uncertain as there are so many participants affecting the outcome. The turn of events can change from moment to moment and though it feels like what is happening in our lives concerns only us, it ripples out to every living thing. We are all connected. We can affect the Sun and Moon, Winds, Earth and Waters. All that is happening in our World we have created and just as we had the power to create it, we have the power to create something else.”
”The most important thing we can do is give gratitude to the Earth and the Wind and the Water and so on. Thank them for being and allowing us to be. For as we are, we actively participate in what happens outside of us whether we are conscious of it or not.”
”It is important to direct your attentions away from the negative and focus on the positive, for where we keep our focus is what we create more of. Remember this in all things.”

Baba the Cat Tells of ‘Taking On’ His Person’s Emotions as Physical Sores

(I asked Baba what is it that manifests the mysterious sores on his body…)
“It has to do with the life that is now, nothing from my past. When [my person] is happy, I’m happy…when she is less-than-happy, I feel that too. She chooses to live a life that is less-than-happy and this is very taxing on her physical body. If I did not help with her emotional strain, she would be very ill and her life would be even less-than-less-than-happy. This I must do or she may die, and it is not her time. She has yet to find her really joyful place in the world, but she has not chosen to find it yet.”
“When [my person] is feeling her emotional strain the strongest is when I take it from her, and allow my body to release it. It is done in this way so it is obvious to the eye. Now [my person] knows why and she will be forced to notice what is happening within her more fully.”
“Maybe now she will choose to find her joyful place, and maybe she won’t. Either choice is for her to make. As for me, I continue my quest to assist [my person] in this life…no matter how she chooses to live it. And when she is ready for living in her joyful place, that is when our best work will begin, for as we lift up ourselves, we lift up the whole planet. Every moment we live in joy we are vibrationally ‘lightening the load’; the burdens that each being carries weighs down the planet. It is soon time for her [Earth] to be lifted to a place of enlightenment and joy and we will be part of that. Whenever you are ready [his person's name]…we can begin.”
Shuma the Cat Speaks of Harmony

(Shuma is speaking of her cat companion Sophie, who does not get along with Shuma, therefore creating disharmony in the house.)
“I come from a place of peacefulness and wish only to live this way, but it is a very difficult place to be in this environment. It is much like the outer world…we must learn to always be in a state of peacefulness even amongst the chaos in order to create a peaceful world. This is my lesson and my teaching.”
“It is important for me to be here to not only learn how to harmonize with the chaos and turn it into love, but to teach the same to others who will see it, including Sophie. I do nothing to instigate conflict and yet she perceives me as a threat, just by my presence. It feels unfamiliar to her and therefore creates feelings of fear and anxiety. I cannot help her with this…she must work it out for herself.”
[Sophie] represents how many in the world are…set and safe in their conformity to certain rules and what is familiar. Experiencing [anything] outside their comfort zone feels threatening and therefore they sense the need to resist or be angry towards it, even if their heart is trying to tell them that this new path is the way to travel.”
”I represent the ways of peace and that harmony among all must be achieved in order to bring health back to the planet. Those who wish to create this find battlegrounds, no matter how peacefully they exist, from those full of fear of change and those who no longer think for themselves but instead follow ones who they trust as wiser and all knowing. They have forgotten that what is within each one of them is wiser than [anything] outside of themselves.”
”We each play a role in the manifestation of what lies ahead. We can choose to live in a place of fear and hate, therefore feeding more of that thinking into the world, or we can choose to look within and listen to our hearts which are trying so hard to harmonize with all beings. The latter is our true nature and does not require a fight, but only requires that we allow it to exist.”
White Buffalo Spirit Speaks on the Purpose of All Things

“The Buffalo People were strong in their numbers in times past and for a purpose, as all things have purpose. We helped to sustain two-legged peoples who lived by the old ways. We were respected and acknowledged for our powers of survival, as we respected and acknowledged those that we helped to survive.”
“There was an agreement long ago amongst all beings to use only what was needed and to waste nothing. This way of living supported all creatures in the cycle of life and death, and there was much honor in it. It was a good agreement. But, eventually that changed and there was waste in the name of greed across the lands. The ways of harmony failed to be understood by those that ravaged the hills and took the two-legged peoples who held all things sacred.”
“This sadness was not just brought into the Great Time of the Buffalo, but has evolved in some form all over the Earth at different times. It continues at its worst today.”
“The misunderstanding of purpose in all things cannot continue. The survival of all requires that all survive. As different species of creatures and plant life disappear, a hole forms in the Great Weave, weakening it and causing instability. Nature is strong and manages to make adjustments, but as the holes increase in numbers so must nature compensate in bigger ways.”
“Man must regain the understanding that all things have purpose to all other things. We are woven together in such intricate ways that for many it is impossible to see the connection, but that is truly where the problem lies…man has forgotten to FEEL the fabric connecting his brothers of land, sea and air. He has forgotten to feel what they feel by his every action. It would benefit all for man to stop the desecration and return to the old agreement. It was a good agreement.”
