“The Buffalo People were strong in their numbers in times past and for a purpose, as all things have purpose. We helped to sustain two-legged peoples who lived by the old ways. We were respected and acknowledged for our powers of survival, as we respected and acknowledged those that we helped to survive.”

“There was an agreement long ago amongst all beings to use only what was needed and to waste nothing. This way of living supported all creatures in the cycle of life and death, and there was much honor in it. It was a good agreement. But, eventually that changed and there was waste in the name of greed across the lands. The ways of harmony failed to be understood by those that ravaged the hills and took the two-legged peoples who held all things sacred.”

“This sadness was not just brought into the Great Time of the Buffalo, but has evolved in some form all over the Earth at different times. It continues at its worst today.”

“The misunderstanding of purpose in all things cannot continue. The survival of all requires that all survive. As different species of creatures and plant life disappear, a hole forms in the Great Weave, weakening it and causing instability. Nature is strong and manages to make adjustments, but as the holes increase in numbers so must nature compensate in bigger ways.”

“Man must regain the understanding that all things have purpose to all other things. We are woven together in such intricate ways that for many it is impossible to see the connection, but that is truly where the problem lies…man has forgotten to FEEL the fabric connecting his brothers of land, sea and air. He has forgotten to feel what they feel by his every action. It would benefit all for man to stop the desecration and return to the old agreement. It was a good agreement.”
